About Us
Shine On, a ministry of the Tim Tebow Foundation, was founded in 2018 after the success and growth of Night to Shine — an unforgettable prom night experience centered on God’s love, for people with special needs. Our founding purpose was to equip local churches to offer belonging to families living with disability year-round and provide a loving community of purpose and fulfillment both in church and in life.
When properly equipped, we believe local churches can be the greatest catalyst for change in dramatically helping to end the social, physical, and spiritual isolation that often impacts the 1.3 billion people and their families worldwide living with disability. This is one of the largest minority groups in the world, yet only 10% of churches today are actively reaching and discipling those impacted by special needs.
As part of our mission, we collaborate with world-class disability organizations and like-minded groups in advancing new and existing resources for churches to provide year-long belonging to these families. It is our hope, prayer, and belief that God will use Shine On to encourage and equip churches everywhere to continue loving, celebrating, and living out the Gospel to those with disabilities and special needs.
Tim Tebow Foundation
Since its inception in 2010, the Tim Tebow Foundation has served those who are hurting, marginalized, and trapped in darkness in 86 countries and counting. In addition to ministry operations and services that meet some of the most dire physical needs, TTF also has a heart to share the Gospel with as many vulnerable people as possible to help them know their inherent value as children of God.
We are called to fight for the world’s most vulnerable people through our four main areas of focus: Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation, Orphan Care + Prevention, Profound Medical Needs, and Special Needs Ministry.

Champions Club: Champions Club is a special needs ministry, concentrating in programming for kids, teens, and adults with special needs and the medically fragile to provide for them spiritually, emotionally, physically and creatively.
Every Body Athletics: Every Body Athletics’ mission is to make a lasting impact on the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) through inclusive group exercise.
Love the Surpasses: The story behind our ministry's name originates from Ephesians 3:17-19, which states just how abundant God’s love is for all of us. Individuals with disabilities are often viewed and described as less, broken, and defective by worldly standards. We spread awareness about how we can fully rest in knowing how valued, loved, and worthy we all are in His love that surpasses knowledge.
Nathaniel’s Hope: Nathaniel’s Hope brings joy and celebrates VIP kids and families with special events throughout the year, trains and equips churches and communities to provide respite care programs and assistance to these families, and has big plans for the future!
Trauma Free World: Trauma Free World is a non-profit training organization that teaches adults a trauma-informed approach to life and work. We believe that when people understand how to better care for themselves and others, we will build healthier, more resilient people, teams, communities, and families.
Ukeru: Ukeru® is the only restraint-free program that combines hands-on training, theoretical concepts, practical tools, and specialized equipment to safely manage and diffuse crises. Ukeru’s conceptual framework is straightforward, but also validated by comprehensive trauma research.
Unless U: Unless U transforms society's view of adults with developmental disabilities by creating an inclusive environment that reflects Christ's love, ensuring that every person is cherished, celebrated, and empowered as image-bearers of God. We foster the growth of our students academically, spiritually, physically, socially, and vocationally.
Young Life Capernaum: Young Life Capernaum creates ministry spaces for young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem through club, camp and other exciting activities.
